Return & Refund Policy

Look, let’s be honest right upfront: Equipiva is a B2B research, review, and resource platform. We publish deeply researched guides, cross-reference specs, and dig through manual data so you can buy the right commercial gear the first time.

Because we do not manufacture, stock, warehouse, or directly ship any physical inventory ourselves, we do not directly accept returns or issue refunds for physical products. Here is how reality works when you buy equipment through our links or recommendations, and how we will help you handle it if things go sideways.

1. The Direct Brand / Vendor Policy

When you click over to purchase a commercial range, heavy-duty mixer, or job-site equipment, your transaction, shipping, and billing are handled entirely by our trusted partner vendors or manufacturers.

  • Every manufacturer has their own distinct return window (usually 14 to 30 days for commercial gear).
  • Many commercial equipment vendors charge a restocking fee (often 15% to 30%) because shipping a 400-pound freight item back across the country isn’t cheap.
  • What you should do: Always double-check the specific return and cancellation policies on the checkout page of the vendor we route you to before you swipe your card.

2. Damaged or Defective Freight (Crucial)

If you are ordering large commercial units that arrive via freight carrier:

  • Inspect the pallet before signing. Do not let the driver rush you. If the crate is busted or the metal is dented, note the damage on the delivery receipt or refuse the shipment entirely.
  • Once you sign a clean delivery receipt, the freight company is legally off the hook, making returns for shipping damage incredibly difficult.

3. Bought the Wrong Spec? We’ll Help You Sort It out.

If you bought a piece of equipment based on information on our site and realized mid-installation that a spec was off, we want to know about it immediately.

  • Send us an email at hello@equipiva.com.
  • Tell us what went wrong, what vendor you bought it from, and the spec mismatch.
  • While we can’t force a vendor to waive a restocking fee, we will do everything in our power to pull up the original schematics, help you find the correct replacement parts, or act as an intermediary with the vendor’s technical support to smooth over the exchange.

Questions Before You Buy?

If you are about to drop thousands of dollars on heavy equipment and you are second-guessing the clearance, voltage, or BTU specs, don’t guess. Reach out to us before you order so we can save you the headache of dealing with a return payload.
